From Worksite to Website — Building Tools for Footy Fans Everywhere
Hi, I’m Adam, the creator of SotaramAFL — a lifelong AFL fan, a construction professional by trade, and a self-taught coder who couldn’t stop thinking about how AFL list managers actually make their draft-day decisions.
During the day, I’m working in the construction and project world — managing sites, solving problems, planning works, and keeping complex projects moving.
At night (and often way too late), I’m coding tools, breaking code, fixing code, and building something I wish existed years ago.
🧰 Why I Built This
For years, I watched the AFL Draft and thought:
“There has to be a better way to visualise this. Fans should be able to see the points, the bid-matching, the club deficits… all in real time.”
What started as a simple spreadsheet became a full mock draft simulator with:
- Live pick points
- Real bid-matching logic
- Accurate club deficits and adjustments
- Future picks and trade scenarios
- Club strategies, player pools, and community mock drafts

- More advanced draft simulations + better points visualisation

📘 SotaramAFL – Content Use & Protection Policy
SotaramAFL has been built with a huge amount of time, effort, research, and passion. This policy exists to protect both SotaramAFL apps and the work behind them, while keeping things friendly and community-first.
🧩 Covered Projects
This policy applies to all SotaramAFL apps and tools, including (but not limited to):
- SotaramAFL Mock Draft Simulator (draft board, bids, points, trades, outcomes, exports, etc.)
- SotaramAFL List Analyzer / List Depth App (best 23 builds, depth charts, positional setups, list composition insights, roster profiles, exports, etc.)
🛡️ Copyright & Ownership
All elements of the SotaramAFL apps — including design, layout, branding, visual identity, databases/data structures, formulas, logic systems, outputs, and unique workflows — are protected by copyright.
This means the apps (and the systems behind them) can’t be copied, republished, repackaged, cloned, or presented as someone else’s work.
This includes attempts to recreate:
- Draft logic, bid/points matching, and trade mechanisms
- List building methods, depth-chart systems, positional frameworks, roster profiling logic
- UI layouts, component styling, branding elements, and unique app features
- Exported/generated outputs presented as standalone content without permission
🎥 Streaming, Recording & Video Content
You’re very welcome to enjoy the apps privately — but if you’d like to stream, record, or feature either app in a YouTube video, TikTok, Twitch stream, livestream watchalong, or any public broadcast, please get in touch first.
This includes:
- Showing the interface in a video
- Using the simulator or list tools in a livestream
- Uploading screenshots or screen recordings
- Publishing draft results, trade outcomes, list builds, depth charts, or generated outputs directly from the apps
- Using the apps while commentating over them publicly

📱 Mobile App Development Notice
A full mobile version (iOS & Android) of SotaramAFL tools is part of the official roadmap (including both draft and list-related functionality).
Any third-party mobile applications or tools that mimic the SotaramAFL brand, design style, draft logic, list systems, features, or outputs are not authorised.
If a mobile version isn’t announced directly through the SotaramAFL YouTube channel or sotaramafl.com, then it isn’t official.
🔐 Use of Branding & Visual Identity
The SotaramAFL name, logo, graphics, and colour identity belong to this project and can’t be used in other apps, videos, promotional materials, or websites without permission.
If you ever want to collaborate or feature the branding properly, reach out — I’m always open to conversations with creators.
⚠️ Enforcement
In cases where the apps, branding, or generated outputs are used without permission, SotaramAFL may issue:
- Copyright claims
- Takedown requests
- DMCA notices
- Removal requests on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, and others
