Who operates the site

SotaramAFL is an independent project created by Adam. This notice covers the main website at sotaramafl.com and explains its links to the SotaramAFL tools. Individual tools may provide additional information about their own data handling.

Information you provide

If you email SotaramAFL, your address and the contents of your message are used to respond to the enquiry and investigate any reported issue. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive information that is not needed for your question. You can contact the same address to ask about personal information you have supplied.

Browser storage and simulator activity

The mock draft simulator uses browser storage for saved drafts and settings. Clearing that site's storage can remove your saves. The news wire also stores your sideways or stacked layout preference in this browser. Its crowd-insights feature can send draft and trade snapshots for aggregate analysis, including the draft class, picks, player identifiers, rules and a random identifier limited to the browser tab.

The crowd dataset does not attach your name, email address or a persistent cross-session advertising identifier. Raw snapshots are privately stored for up to 24 months; anonymous aggregates may be retained for historical comparisons. Read the simulator's crowd-insights privacy notice for the collection and retention details. This site-wide notice does not replace it.

Hosting and external services

Vercel hosts the main website and mock draft simulator. Hosting services may process IP addresses, browser information, request times and technical logs to deliver and secure the service. The homepage may request news information from the SotaramAFL List Analyzer service. Following an external link lets that destination process your visit under its own policies.

Google advertising and cookies

The homepage includes Google AdSense code. Ad tags can contact Google even when an ad is not displayed. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites.

Advertising services can process cookies, IP addresses and other identifiers for ad delivery, measurement and, where permitted, personalisation. Other vendors or ad networks enabled through Google may also place or read cookies. For details, see how Google uses information from partner sites and Google's advertising information.

You can manage personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center and use YourAdChoices for participating vendors. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. These choices may be browser- or device-specific and do not necessarily remove all advertising.

Where a Google consent message is shown, use its controls and the accompanying privacy and cookie settings link to change your choices. A privacy notice is not itself a consent form. The guide articles, this privacy page, and the automated news page do not include Google ad tags.

YouTube videos

Embedded videos on the homepage connect to YouTube when you choose to load them. YouTube and Google may process device information, cookies and viewing activity under their policies. You can instead follow the link to watch on YouTube. See Google's privacy policy.

Analytics and retention

The homepage uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand visits and website performance. These services may process page URLs, device and browser information and performance measurements. See Vercel Web Analytics privacy information and Speed Insights privacy information. The main website does not currently include a standalone Google Analytics tracking tag. Ad providers and hosting services can still generate their own usage and operational records. This notice does not promise that external services retain information for the same period as the simulator's crowd dataset.
