Ethan Drever scouting report
Ethan Drever is the 2026 draft’s breakout "powerhouse" midfielder. A 188cm big-bodied bull from the GWV Rebels, Drever has taken a massive leap in his draft year, transforming into a dominant stoppage specialist who can also gut-run to the outside. Renowned for his "clean-hands" and surgical distributive work, he recently set the Talent League alight with a 34-disposal, 10-tackle, 9-clearance masterclass. With a clinical goal-kicking knack and the strength to fend off senior-sized bodies, he is the prototypical modern "inside-outside" engine room operator who thrives on the big stage

More from the scouting notes
Drever mirrors Wines’ "brute force" archetype; he utilizes his 188cm frame to bully opponents at the contest, prioritizing power and clearance-winning while possessing the underrated mobility to spread from the stoppage and hit the scoreboard under pressure.
