Memphis Webb scouting report

Memphis Webb is the 2026 draft’s "unbreakable inside engine." Standing at 183cm, the North Adelaide product is one of the most inspirational stories of the draft pool, having completely conquered a grueling 10-month rehabilitation after rupturing his ACL in April 2025. Returning to the field with a point to prove, Webb hasn't just managed his minutes—he has absolutely dominated the coalface. In just his second game back from reconstruction, he put on an absolute masterclass against Norwood, picking up 27 disposals, 8 clearances, and a game-shaping running goal to spark a miraculous 40-point comeback. An imposing, physically powerful inside bull out of Tea Tree Gully, Webb uses exceptional core strength and immaculate one-touch handling off the ruck's hands to ruthlessly claim first possession and dictate clearances.

More from the scouting notes

Jack Graham represents a highly accurate stylistic and structural benchmark for Webb's specific physical traits. At 183cm, Webb shares that exact same dense, powerful frame and low center of gravity that defines Graham's multi-premiership game. Like Graham, Webb is a pure contested-ball animal who uses his bulk to protect the drop zone, stand up in heavy tackles, and execute short, sharp handballs to release the outside runners. Webb's 18-handball, 8-clearance performance against Norwood perfectly highlighted this unselfish, blue-collar dynamic. Furthermore, both players possess a high-end competitive streak that makes them elite defensive tacklers at stoppages, with the flexibility to occasionally "squirt forward" and use their explosive core strength to crash aerial packs or snap crucial goals
